This is a killer deal even without the Music123 price-match, IMHO. I've got a set of first-gen Rokit 6's and love them.

Props to sasjf at the H-C deals thread, post #443. If you want to try to do the price-match, you'll have to read up-thread on that.
If you're one of the folks here who are monitoring on sub-standard speakers, this is your chance to get some excellent powered monitors at a great price, and start being able to actually hear your mix.
Here's the direct link to GC for them: http://www.guitarcenter.com/KRK-Rokit-P ... 1477660.gc
And yes, they're red.

I bow to you kind sir for posting this beast of a deal. I don't ever frequent guitar forums so I never would have found it myself.

I don't see the word 'pair' or 'set' in the item description for what is being sold and the ad says 'monitor' so is this price per monitor speaker?GreyLion wrote:This is a killer deal even without the Music123 price-match, IMHO. I've got a set of first-gen Rokit 6's and love them.

Edit:
Yeah it looks like the individual monitor price. Still a killer deal.

I tried getting this last night, they only price matched 100%, never got a response back yet about the 123%. If you check the product page at music123 now it says the product has been discontinued even though it was available yesterday, guess it was too big of a hit to take on their end. At least the GC deal is still goodGreyLion wrote:This is a killer deal even without the Music123 price-match, IMHO. I've got a set of first-gen Rokit 6's and love them.

Yeah, there's been a lot of (justified, I think) bitching in the H-C thread about Music123 being tricksy with that 123% deal. Sometimes it helps to phone in instead of doing the email, sometimes the other way around. And they sometimes go back and change their prices or whatever, when people start piling into a really great deal.ezelkow1 wrote: I tried getting this last night, they only price matched 100%, never got a response back yet about the 123%. The thing on this one is, they can't exactly be out of them if GC isn't, because MF, GC, Music123, and WWBW are all the same company, with shared warehouses, so them saying that they're discontinued suddenly, is a bunch of BS.
Frankly, I'm still having trouble resisting the $90/each deal...

Tascam 16 channel mixer for $99
*seems to be on sale for $200 off. I had to jump on it. Been looking for a less then $100 mixer with balanced outs for quite awhile now but everything under $100 had unbalanced outs. This will more then serve my needs now plus lots of extra goodies on it, and I got it for the price I was willing to pay.
