Think of it as Zebra 2, version 5 (we omitted 4 because it wasn't spectacular enough) :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
I guess so!

But, now I need an updated manual so I can figure out what all the new twiddly bits do.... :scared:

Hi Urs,

sorry to bring this up again, but I just had to ask..

Earlier you said that microtuning support would also be included in Zebrify. I got the feeling that it would be included in the 2.5 update. Downloaded 2.5 yesterday, but I can't seem to be able to find the microtuning controls in Zebrify...

So I take it that this has not been implemented yet?

In any case, thanks and cheers for 2.5!

Sorry, yes, it isn't included.

I was about semi sure that it was during the last couple of weeks but I was wrong. For the same reason I had the last minute bug fix where the second Osc/FMO/Comb was out of tune. Unfortunately I had to make a decision, and instead of adding microtuning support to my midified fx plugins, I voted for a safer fix, so I could release. It slipped my mind

But that doesn't mean it won't be there. I'll work on this as soon as I get my new setup going, because it'll be the same code that also drives Uhbik-X, and Uhbik-X is my major project before going back to Bazille and Berlin Modular (and on the side I hope to finally add this stuff to MFM2 and Filterscape too).

Ok, thanks for the swift reply! Will patiently await the update(s) ;)

Cheers

Howard's new bank is the icing on the cake - great programming for a great synth.

Hi,

I am not clever enough to have participated in the beta testing BUT I have ears and I know a defective VSTi. An absolutely brilliant upgrade from 2.3 - serious programming Urs of the VSTi and brilliant new sounds from Howard. I must also say that the many free banks from 2.3 ported over just as well and they too sound wonderful

So Merry Xmas to Urs, Howard and the equally brilliant sound designers who have added banks to make this a really great instrument.

Wow Urs! And that's not all I can say. I didn't download the initital 2.5 because I figured I would just wait until the more finished version was there. I haven't had hardly any time to use the synth itself yet, but your adapting of Zebra into an effect is totally fantastic in conception and execution. I think this pretty much puts Zebra into the forefront of almost any and everything that is out there.

Have a great holiday- you've earned it. By the way, when is Uhbik X coming out? Okay, I was just joking. :D

it's good to have a plan

I have to say I like the way these plans circle back to upgrade the whole product line

This is only possible with some clever reuse of code and/or interfaces or a real dedication to refactoring or all of the above. This is really something even those without any sort of exposure to software development can appreciate. It's easy to see design at work, when it works and with a lot of other 'companies' when it doesn't.

Howard's patch Blubbery Thing is really interesting..
..isn't it made with the blueberry thing from the "Sine Sine Everywhere a Sine" thread?

A small tutorial about "talking zebra" could be useful!
