Also I think you use too many different colors, but again, I'm no expert in choice of colours.
I love it :P The colours represent the individual parts that make up oatmeal. I only have to get used to the placement of things now as it's been "remixed" :P but once i'm settled on it...It's the only skin i have now.

New skin + synth = perfect

Really - so much character in this one.

just delete the file "current" in the skins folder.. that sets the plug to use the default skin ;)

The colours were pretty much standard Nord colours from the first skin I did. I never claimed they were the best colour choices but a lot of people wanted this so I kept the colours "Nord-esque". I personally think the orange is too light a colour, the red backdrop is distracting and I'm not overly fond of the colour of the top and bottom sections.

I'm already working on a different colour version but these things take time. I have to recreate any knobs that have a new background colour because of Oatmeal not being able to use alpha channel transparency. If you look at the number of different knob graphics in the ezeeskin2nord folder you'll understand why this is a timeconsuming task. ;)

In the mean time, you could try saving the following image and replacing the ezeeskin2nord.png file in the ezeeskin2nord folder with this one (be sure to rename it first). I've changed the orange bars and red backdrop to something a little easier on the eyes. ;)

sorry for this question, but how does one change skin? I've just downloaded some skins, how do I use them?

Post

There's a "skin" button on the synth's interface. Press it and select a new oms file to change skins. :)

damn I didn't see it.
thanks a lot, ezeeboogie.
Btw...an awesome skin!

I've not read this whole thread but has anyone had a pop up saying "Have you seen that movie with that guy from that show?" I was flicking through randomised presets when it happened.... very odd!

beautiful work, ezeeB! has this one become a oms file yet, or is there a way to do that - (I haven't read the most recent 5 pages  )
thanks again for this layout on a most inspiring synth!! :D

Post

he will - in the meantime you could do as described in his post a few scrolls up. at least that's what i did cause i like this one a lot better than the original nord skin anyway.

thank you for the skin and for the synth, guys. :)
