in some semblance of uniformity, I noticed a major discrepancy
between the total number of files, while there was only
a small difference in the total size of the files.
But with around 380 folders at hand, how could I quickly find
a bunch of tiny files hiding who-knows-where? Time for the
search engine to peruse the legacy of linux command savvy
(not my specialty, but it sure is good
to lean on when needed

here is the solution I chose:
so finding one with a plethora of tiny files, was just a matter of
scrolling. Took a minute or so of alphabetized scrolling,
as the folder title began with a 'P'. And it was the weekend,
with a ballgame on the radio as diversion...
This solution typifies linux as a handy musicians toolbox.
Looking for a folder of many small,
but lost (or discovered) files? Presets, text files, photos?
Or in my case, simply a misplaced Audacity project folder.
Embrace the search engine,
fear not the commandline...
