Yes, I'm glad that Spitfire has educational discounts, but unfortunately because of the British Pound and USD exchange rate, the discount doesn't help quite as much as I would hope.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to knowing if Cinesamples has any sort of discount available.

50% OFF TEN OF OUR BEST SELLING DANCE SAMPLE COLLECTIONS!

Until this Monday 9 July, we are offering them at 50% OFF

To get the 50% discount, just use the coupon code "TOPDANCE" at the Download Shop checkout

Please be aware this is 50% off the original price NOT off the online sale price before you go to all the trouble of logging in, adding to cart and entering the code. Don't forget that sales tax may or may not be added to your order depending on where you live. That's 20% here in the UK.
Yes, I found that out too. A bit weird that Zero-G offers multiple discount options at once, it's confusing for consumers

I was hoping to combine them and get Nostalgia for USD35. For a 6 year old sample library without the Intakt engine, that seems just about the right price.

Well that was not to be, in the end money saved :D

there is a sale going on at image line (40 % off of everything).

what to get? never used any of their plugs except for SliceX.
Finally!

No one seems to know about the existence of Cinesamples educational discounts, so perhaps, it 's likely that the discount doesn't exist. Still, I'd like to confirm. Where and whom would I ask?

Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Cinesamples is expecting people to report problems and bugs, so I don't think the support ticket is exactly the most sensible solution is it?

I see your point. :nutter:

I usually like "normal" substractive synthesis the most. But I just recently bought Harmor and I can warmly recommend that you demo it at least. To put it shortly it's nothing short of amazing. There is nothing else (vsti) like it in my opinion. The quality of the resynthesis engine is crazy. I had it on my buying list ever since it came out and this was a good chance for me toget it. I have already done so many presets for this thing that sound very unique compared to any of my other synths. It's an additive synth that can sound really organic. The filters are additive too which is a very interesting twist. I know, additive synthesis don't usually go well together with the word organic, but I am not ashamed to say that of Harmor. I am still on my honeymoon phase with it, but I really think that it's one of the best VSTi products ever. I don't think I have ever been this excited of any digital product before. If you treat Harmor right you can convert a single note sample and play it many octaves higher or lower and it still manages to sound great. And in the cases when it has some resynthesis artifacts, they are actually the good ones. I simply don't understand why nobody talks about this synth. Hey... at least I can have it as my secret (or not so secret) tool from now on.

Another product from them that I can warmly recommend is vocodex. That's if you're into vocoders and are in need of one. For me it was good enough to retire my analog vocoder permanently.

It's just too bad that these plugins are not available in 64-bit.
I have been using jBridge with Harmor and it's not working as well as I would like.

I like imageline so much. They can really think outside of the box. Many of their products are very innovative and they have many features that you don't find in competitors products.
I like it when companies base their reputation on making original products instead of riding on the fame of the synths from the past.

Just contact them already. They have an excellent tracking system for inquiries. When you go to the form (at the link given in the post above), under "Help Topic", pick "General Question." It's not simply for support issues. You can just ask general questions using the form.

It's what it's there for. Use it. They typically respond within 24 hours, so you'd probably have your answer already if you'd contacted them when you first starting asking here.

I actually sent a ticket yesterday. All right, i'll stop asking here now. I would have thought that people would have asked this already. Ah well.

Students have more disposable income than non-students. I don't see why they deserve a discount at all. :p

What in the world are you saying? I don't have an disposable income, believe me.
