Since someone posted the new factory sounds are not special, I have to add,
most of the presets blow me away, no kidding! Now that macros work and cpu is low, I could check and use the macros in a creative way. Mamma Mia!
I am not into arps and seq that much, but will also check, but
Category Pads
Analog Voyage use the modwheel and especially 3rd macro "open up" very nice

Heavens Gate what a pad with mw and Stepper Macro what a pad! So beautiful

Pitchypad it's kinda funky with mw and sweeps macro love it

Teisc200F Opener my fav one mw and 2nd macro soooo cool

Vocialize maybe that's my fav one!? So inspiring

Dream Keys1 please don't this, can't stop playing what a great combinatiin of chorus, reverb and delay, all macros are kinda magical and drive your creativity insane

WHERE are the EDM presets, haven't any edm presets been added to factory content of v2?

No special sounds? Well, there obviously must be something wrong with my ears and I have not even tested 20% of the new presets
I am glad, the old orange skin is still available, the new one looks great, too, but Avenger is orange for me, imagine bananas would be blue all of a sudden, you would be a lil confused, wouldn't you?!

OK- just bought even though I think its expensive reports of the new update being CPU friendly pushed me over the edge...however I cant run it (frustrating!) It says 'says remove file write protection'- never seen this message before for any software ever! I tried off line (download key file) but same error- cant use it! Very very frustrating as only bought now as I have tonight free!

I had a few errors of varying weirdness in the online activation. I ended up doing the offline method on both machines, that worked fine for me.

I was kind of hoping some here could just tell me what to do now so I can use it! I will write support but this thread just sems to be full of people who cant run the software, I have a totally normal, clean Win 11 system? Its also deleted my Vengeance 1 so I cant use anything now!

I had a few errors of varying weirdness in the online activation. I ended up doing the offline method on both machines, that worked fine for me.

First thing I tried, off-line also said write protected, also tried running as admin etc. I'm out of ideas now. I have emailed support but you know how disappointing it is when you finally talk yourself in to upgrading then you cant use it (and loose the original!)

Is it possible you might have some anti-ransomware or other security protection that is blocking the ability to write?

For the record I had to do offline authorization even though my studio system is online. But that was on the first day or so when the servers were melting down.

(which in a way is a good thing because it means the Avenger user base is large and that bodes well for its future)

you maybe use external storage? Try your system disk, just for testing

Nothing other than the standard Win 11 stuff, totally clean and untweaked machine just used for Audio in studio- no problem with iLok, Roland Cloud, UA Connect etc...100s of VSTS, never had an issue (or with Avenger 1)

I thought it may be an issue with the new update as its just out hence whey I posted-but if anyone else with Win 11 has installed OK with the new update today I'll know its just me!

Updated to 2.0.2 but there is still an issue with the vman :

Version installed/latest : n.a./2.0.2

But activation is ok and everything works fine, so no problems here.

not yet, we covered all NEW stuff up in YT videos. We know that only 1% even bothering downloading a manual nowadays. I think that is a pity, since the manual is very good. I always enjoyed reading big manuals

The new Spectral oscillator is so good!

The GUI is noticeably sharper, looks very good now (although I still don’t like the avenger logo all sloped, but that’s really picky!)

Just we through the factory 2 bank tonight, personally I thought they were pretty good with well programmed macros - Avenger really is an instant gratification synths…3 instances a pad, an arp and a lead = full track!
