My bad, I did mean "usable to ME". Sorry.VFXAU wrote:Hi, I agree more happy customers, but really you can't say NOT USABLE LIVE... as 100's are using them happily, everyones situation is very different. You know, even if it just played one sound it would be USABLE LIVE.. Sure I am the same, I want more features, it is normal human nature (sadly) to always look at what something Can't do instead of what is can do, you can certainly say FOR ME it is not really usable. In most cases users can load several VSTi's to a preset and change midi channels. (or mute/unmute).
But as we can see, some other people are wishing for this too.

Hi, I have requested that this issue be a priority on the development teams desk, the global settings don't seem to be saved at the moment and they will do a firmware update for this so it is saved. So don't pull your hair out trying. As far as the parameter feedback setting, if you have motorised controlers connected the V-Machine will update them if this setting is set to ON.gafaell wrote:Dear VFXAU,
Do you know how to permanently turn off the Delayed Load Plug, in the Global Menu ??
Thank you for your cooperation and appreciated help.

You are welcome, I would still like to know what plugins you are loading and in what combination so I can do the same setup here.gafaell wrote:Thank you VFXAU, let's hope to have good news soon !!

I already told it, Organized Trio.VFXAU wrote: The only way for me to replicate exactly what you are doing and offer the support that I want to offer is to know what plugins you are using and set it up in the same way that you are so I can experiment in different ways of loading to offer you a solution. As you know from previous posts I am on the user side so what ever I can do to replicate your situations to the team helps everyone. Because in my experiments with VSTi's (DSP based not large sample based) changing presets can be very fast.
But again, it was just an example, it happens in all plugins. With the mute method in adjacent presets you just save 20% of the loading time. If loading a plug takes 1 second, 0,8s is no problem, but if it takes 5 seconds this is a big disaster.
What I'm proposing (please, pass it to the programmers as I think it is very feasible) is that the firmware, that already recognizes the loaded plugs in the actual preset and the adjacent one, has just to unmute one plug and mute the other when I change the preset, just as I would do manually in the V-M if I remain in one preset. No reload needed. If this can be done by changing the preset, I just have to press one button, the one to change the preset. If I have to do it manually remaining in one preset, I have to press 3 or 4 buttons, and this isn't practical when playing live.
Another half-way solution would be if the SOLO funtion would deactivate the mute in the channel.
The midi channel method is very valid. But sadly there are a lot of keyboards that have Data Wheel and no INC/DEC buttons and whith the wheel you are a lot less precise.

O.k., one question concerning "licence plugin on v-machine" in the "v-machine" menu in the VFX-Software:
Which plugins can be lincensed this way? Challenge-response? AAS / NI and so on?
How do we have to use this? (I only get the information "No licensing information found for this plugin"...)

Und - was fangen wir nun mit der o.g. neuen Funktion an?
(Ich vermute mal, da kommt noch ein Tutorial auf der Webseite, richtig?)
