Thanks, good to hear they're not ignoring the requests. I'll try that again...
I critized them for calling their app connect.exe and not continuata connect.exe (or something like that)

How am I supposed to be able to search up "connect" in Windows 8 ?

Of course I search for Continuata, which gave me no hits, so I grilled them about that.

And that must have made some blood boiling as reply was almost instant.

No I got it just fine.

Thanks, guys! I got the page to load about 20 minutes ago. Nice, quick download has completed.

The download page comes up with some other highly discounted products. Will check them out soon. :)

At least there is a link to a free sample pack at the top of their website, which leads to: https://producerschoice.leadpages.co/fr ... -packs-vb/

Anyone know if the deal for a free EZX with a purchase of EZDrummer 2 also counts for upgrades and/or purchases from online resellers?

Toontrack website says upgrades are excluded. See the fine print here: https://www.toontrack.com/deals-2015/

You can buy a full version from a retailer and get the free EZX because that's what I did.

inTone 2 + inValve Effects, 80% off costing just $19 for x-mas

Great find, Num, but you gotta be blazingly fast to enter your PWUW price.

I would like to get the inTone 2 package but seems to me it can only work as a standalone "DAW" and can't be utilized as VST plug in another DAW :(

Did you try the free inTone 2 solo version, Num?

Has anyone used inTone 2? Can it run as a standalone plugin host? Or only as a plugin itself?

To answer my own questions, I emailed them and they said...
Hi, it runs just as a host. Not as a plug-in in other hosts.

I works when you purchase from online resellers but I don't think it works for upgrades.

Depending on what you're looking for, I may be able to get you two free EZX's. Please PM me if you're interested.

intone 2 is intentionally just a host for plugins for when you are live. it's like a DAW without any recording capability, and all channels monitor all the time. maybe there's some reason to use it as a plugin, but if you already have a DAW, you don't really need it.

the intone 2 package does include a whole suite of VST effects that can be used in other hosts, but they're fairly utilitarian IIRC.

That said, the ability to also work inside a DAW would be a great companion to standalone operation. Using it standalone would be great for jamming and gigging, but it's likely you'd want to use those same setups in the studio too, inside your DAW.

Blue Cat Patchwork does both, but it's more money, and the capabilities of the two products are different. Not that I'm super familiar with either one...
