Well yeah, if you update your V 4 synths to the latest versions, yeah, they'll work. But Synclavier will only work if you have V 5.

That's right - it's the "V4 Update", which is the V5 synths minus Synclavier, B3 and the piano (and something else). The ARP, Matrix and Modular presets are fine - but I don't have the Synclavier to load the synx file. I was wondering if it could be loaded through Analog Lab 2 somehow - but maybe that just loads the multis, and then it reads the synth presets from the actual synth folders.

Not to worry - I'll still enjoy the others

I've had it less than a week and it's my first experience with Arturia outside of using the demos.

The V collection blows me away. Some of the most amazing sounding synths and instruments available today... truly state-of-the-art. I wish I could afford to purchase. Perhaps some day.

Hi felis, when you say that "each synth had to be done individually though", you mean that the VST path are not remembered across the different instruments?

@Kevin, yes you have to change the path for each instrument, then the updates remember the settings

Hey all,

First time poster, longtime lurker. I tried to find this question in the 65 pages of this thread but it was getting a bit overwhelming. I'm loving everything about the V Collection 5 but I noticed there is no EFX versions of Modular V3, ARP 2600 V3 or Mini V3. Are they coming in an update in the near future? I love the improved sound of the Moog filter and the layouts of the new versions. Sorry if this has been asked previously.

Hello SpencerDC,

The EFX versions did not get ported to the V Collection 5 format, but it is still possible to route audio into those plugins as Instruments, and therefore use them as effect boxes.

No - I set the paths for the first instrument and installed it. Then when I went to install the rest of the instruments individually, I didn't have to re-set the paths.

I did have to install each instrument separately though. It wasn't like I could just elect to 'Install V Collection' or something, and have them all install sequentially.

So in Cubase 8.5 would I just create an instrument track with Modular V3 (VST3) and then use the side chain input and send my audio tracks via the side chain? Is there a plan to port the EFX versions to V3? That would make life and creativity easier.

Sometimes when I load some of the arturia synths on a saved project on Ableton, it loads unauthorized and with the default patch. I thought that the new versions (I have v4 update) would solve this, but it's happening with the new versions too. Does anyone else have this problem too?

I found this to happen but in my case it's explainable. I demo'ed Synclavier and it's still installed on my cpu. I load a channel strip with Synclavier instead of Analog Lab and, of course, it loads in demo mode.

In my Arturia account, it shows an upgrade to V from IV Update which I just purchased for only $99. Tempting...

OK so I was making playlists of Prophet VS, 5 and hybrid presets but how do I export them to share? For that matter how do I make a bunch of presets into a bank? Can't see any 'new bank' command, or how to delete one even.
