how trigger midi sample banks "drums"2005-08-23T00:06:17+00:00Okeey this technic is I think the same as an electric drums for example the Roland DDrum is an sampler, triggerd with sensors that send the signal to the drummodule whitch is set to play the drumset truw the headphones ore speakers. yea ,, i just wanted to work whith my great samples on my pc that i have collected and made some myself ,,,,So I think I am gonna use a rack sampler ore midi truw unit with midi in-out puts and drumtriggers on my spiderwed drumbatters,,yep.
maybe if someone has worked with this kind of setup have some advise for me

If I understand correctly, you want to use "real drums" as triggers (not sure what spiderwed drumbatters are). If so I recommend the Ddrum trigger-clamps (which are ex-clavia, now ddrums.com, roland has the vdrums brand). http://www.ddrum.com/drumtriggers.htm
Then for a rack-unit, the Alesis D4 and DM5 are the most cost-effective solution, if you're going to use your PC as a sampler.
If you want the external rack unit to also hold your custom sounds, you could check out the ddrum4. It doesn't have a ton of memory, but if you aren't triggering 30-second sounds it should be adequate.
