Watching that driving test program yesterday am. There was a snippest of a song being played regularly. It Appeared to be the chorus. Anyway, need to find the song, Can you help? Here's the clues ..
1) The words were "I'll Be there"
2) Sung over a northern soul style stomp beat)
3) definitely a modern production (ie - NOT a Motown job)
4) It sounded very much like the Spice girls
5) But I have checked their discography and I don't think it was)
Thats all I have. Any ideas?

That doesn't sound at all like the spice girls.clueless wrote:"stomp beat"?
The Four Tops "Reach Out (I'll Be There)"
Compare:
Four Tops...
Spice Girls...
See the difference?

Thanks. It will most likely be the Bunton bint. If it aint, I'll be back.
And yes Clueless:- The day I get the Four Tops or The Jacksons mixed up with the Spice Girls is the day I'll give up music completely. Numpty.

The Spice Girls did one stomp song, called 'Stop' - stop right now, thank you very much, I need somebody with a human touch ... and the film clip was done in the north of England.

If it isn't Emma, you can check the track which I suggested (which I'm telling you now is the proper one
) here
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... c&n=507846
Scroll down 1/4 of the way and there are tracks of the album you can check including that I'll be there one.

How did you come to that assumption then? Does that sound anything like Northern soul??hardwired wrote:If it isn't Emma, you can check the track which I suggested (which I'm telling you now is the proper one) here
