Oops! didn't mean for this to become a new topic - meant to put it in the Philharmonik discussion thread.

I wanted to say that so far I'm in love with this library. I have a question though - what controller do I use for volume? I know GPO uses Mod wheel data and EWQLSO uses CC11, but it's not made clear what this uses. My guess would be CC7 but I want to make sure before tweaking.

Also, I've heard mention of certain patches that use combinations of Mod wheel and volume etc. but I'm not sure where to find them - I've installed from both DVDs and don't see anything like that. Thanks.

If you click on the Black down arrow next to a patch that brings up the 'child presets' these have specific programmming. The AMV patches will be more comfortable to you since you have a background using GPO. These use Aftertouch filtering, Mod-Wheel volume/timbre changes, and Velocity attack control.

Ah, I see. I wasn't clicking deep enough and missed that last level. Thanks.

Many levels.

You can also control volume with 7 although that is global (after the reverb).

You can assign the modwheel to macro A "Swell" on any patch and choorse the min and max range as well for your own custom volume control (or any other midi cc). Have fun!

Yeah - I noticed the swell in Macro for some instruments and thought NEATO!!!!
