Hi.
Would it be possible to add some extra notes to the bottom range of the UBK presets? If all presets went down to say c0, it would be great. Even a time stretch of the lowest note would do fine.

The bass I used is a four-string, so really the "normal" lowest note is a low E. In some of the sets it goes down to a D, as if the bassist was using a drop D tuning.
But, if you really need that low C, you could use a pitch bend on the low D.

Ok Rune
Bear with me for a bit as I won't be able to do this untill at least next week or there abouts. What i will do is map a few low E notes to the lowest I can and then you will be able to load those into a 2nd Osc on ManyStation and with the Zones setting you will be able add and map them to any preset you wish. (They will just be 1 note samples stretched though)
Thanks
Paul

Hey Runepe, let me quickly make you a Manystation preset with the extended range. It'll just take a sec, I'll post it here in a bit.

Here you go:
http://rapidshare.de/files/5299837/5-St ... .PRST.html
This preset will give you all the notes down to a low B, like a 5-string bass would have. You can easily change the soundset used in osc 1 and 2 for the different bass sounds.
Let me know if this works for you.

Thank you
I tried the patch, it worked just fine. I noticed that it's the same as fingered, but you've switched the lowest sample. I haven't had time to read the Manytone manual, but I guess I can use the mappings or something to create another patch based on, say the picked patch? I'll try it when I have some spare time. But again, thank you for your kind help.

Hi runepe
All you need to do is load the different soundsets into Osc 1 and 2 using the Soundset load window. So load Picked or other sets into both those and that should get you low notes for any set you want. You can then further tweak the interface to get EQ and other settings as you like.
I hope this works for you.
