Noobz is a center-channel remover. You can remove those vocals and kick drums. Free even!

Feed it stereo..... or else you'll have a nice mute plugin.

it works with a magic custom-coded formula:
(output = R minus L).

Well it did what it said on the box, so thanks, Steve.

Actually I only tried it on a drum loop, but the bass drum dead centre got erased good.

By all means, vote for choice #1... I'm gonna go broke paying all these people to use it

I made this effect before with synthedit... but it was over 1 meg, even with a 1-pixel GUI

[EDIT] 1.0.0.3 has been uploaded:

- Default values now default correct.
- The middle slider now resets to 100% when ctrl-clicked.

can anyone explain to me how the software works as im new to all this?

Is it like a rip tool it actually takes vocals and kick drums from tunes?

Nah, AFAIK it's a VST effect that mutes whatever is sitting dead centre in an audio file. So, you could get rid of the vocals, and the bass drum, and whatever else is panned center.
