A f$@ken' real job... never thought!
Anyway, we're specializing in hardcopy Indie & Imports etc... (CD, Vinyl, DVD only - no mp3 download site)
Anyone got suggestions to put me in touch with cool & honest distributers with catalogues of great music I might not have heard about or have on my books currently?
Only realistic & established labels, distributers please.
Just post ya ideas & links I 'spose?
Much appreciated!

What kind of indie- indie-rock, or independent music in a broader sense?
Oh, and are you going to stay brick-and-mortar, or are you thinking about a webshop, too?
I know quite a number of lables from around these parts, but they're small(ish) and release mainly electronic music.
Groet, Erik

Yeah, thanks for that Sickle - be sure sure 'n say hi to the grandkids for me!
Tetraplan - whatever indie but not too obscure.
We're not a big store so we can't afford to stock stuff that people won't get.
Shit I sound like a suit... crucifix & garlic anyone!
Bricks 'n Mortar only right now, but we're looking into the web thing.
Cheers.

I think Cargo Distribution's Australian branch is still operating... not too far from NZ so you'd save postage.
US-wise I'd recommend Forced Exposure, and Cargo in the UK for general indie stuff of all varieties.

Subterranean is pretty cool:
http://www.subterranean.org/main/home.html
They have all sorts of odd/obscure releases, imports, etc.
Revolver's been around for quite a while. They used to have ads in MRR all the time when I was a young 'un:
