Still puzzled...

Hi guys; I have this problem for some time, and posted a couple of times about it before. Now some further information and hope you can help me. Not sure in which forum it does belong, but here it goes:

Some plugins behave funny in my system, in eXT, but also in Tracktion. They work fine in Muzys. For example:

ProtoypX (former version of Protoplasm)-Doesn't play from the keyboard;

Lallapalloza Lite-The arpegiator doesn't work while playing from the keyboard;

Analog Warfare 2-Doesn't play from the keyboard, except Hard Sync patch from midi channel 6 (??) ;

Arppe2600vaX-Doesn't play from the keyboard, except selecting midi channel 2 from the interface ;

E-Flex3-Doesn't play from the keyboard;

...etc... (only to name some)



Hardware problem?:

1-They all play fine from the piano roll, so there's nothing wrong with my sound board;

2-Many other plugs play fine, and these ones play fine in Muzys, so there's nothing wrong with my keyboard;



Plugins problem?:

Well, they are all Synthedit (surprise, surprise ?);

But on the other hand they work fine in Muzys, and I haven't seen much people reporting these kind of problems;



Host problem?:

A problem in eXT and Tracktion? In both of them ? Unlikely....


Or...

An unfortunate combination of oddities in Synthedit, eXT or Tracktion and my Evolution keyboard?

Are you sure what channel your midi keyboard is transmitting?

Yeah, maybe in Muzy's you have it set to receive all channels, but only specific ones in XT and T. That's what I would check.

From channel 1, but tried other channels; that's how I found out the channel 6 thing in Analog Warfare 2.

Sorry for such a late response, but I only found this now, if You would have asked on the amvst site I could have told You earlier. When You take a look at the global panel, You will see that midichannel is on channel 1 in most patches, the hard sync patch is set on "all", so it is reading channel 6...set Your synth to channel one, or the AW2 to "all", and that's all. My master key is always set on the first patch, that is transmitting from channel 1, so I did not notice...sorry for that, in the next update I will set everthing to all, got it on my list of things to do!

Yea, some of those synths made be made in synthedit, but they kick ass so don't disrespect!!!!

I don't, really. I love all the mentioned . Otherwise I wouldn't bother to start this thread.
