Miroslav - pre-order with no extra (edit)

Having pre-ordered this on the day the pre-order was announced, mostly since Squids posted:-
"The first 50 people to pre-order will also receive a special bonus extra in their shipment (more news on that later). "
(else it wouldn't have mattered when I ordered, since it still takes an age to reach the UK, but at least the money would have stayed in my account):-
Mine turned up and I didn't get a "special bonus extra". Gutted.
What was the extra thing anyway?
(unless Esoundz wants to put one in with my World Instrument order next week, along with the drumsticks Squids promised me ha ha).
Right, I've just updated Cubase to 3.1, lets go install Miroslav and make some musical noise.
Rollasoc
PS Postie delivered it, though it states a customs charge, I'm expecting a letter from customs in a few weeks then.

Hey make sure you remove your cubase dongle first...
if you want both licenses on 1 dongle ,
install Mirslov but don't start up cubase..
attach your cubase & IK dongle
start up the syncrosoft control center and move the licence to the 1 dongle.
Then boot up cubase and register miroslav.

I am sure Squids will set you up with your bonus. In my experience, he always comes through with stuff like that.

The install went fine (I remembered to remove all dongles first).
Having fun with the Choirs at the moment.

We haven't forgotten about your "extra" (which by the way is a set of additional custom programmed combis). We're crunching the end of a huge project which has swallowed up all of our sound developer's time, but we're approaching the end of the crunch and your freebies will be available for download shortly.rollasoc wrote:Mine turned up and I didn't get a "special bonus extra". Thanks for your patience.

The sounds in Philharmonik are definately great!! I'm glad I got it, and I'm not disappointed. All the sounds are first rate.

I agree, the sounds are fantastic. I've already had success with replacing the strings in a song I'm working on for a client with the MP strings and it has resulted in a vast improvement. I am wary of dongles in general, so I allow them only if the software is too good to miss - and MP certainly is that.

I think the extra combis were always going to be a download thing afterwards.
God, I read the title of this post and thought someone was actually unhappy with the instrument.

Seriously though - Why title a thread something like that when it could be so misleading? I would love to see you change the name of your thread, d00d...
From what I remember reading, they said they'd have some additional combis to download sometime soon after miro was released. It's only been a week or two, right?
I'm sorry, but posts like this tend to annoy me very much. Almost looks like a sabotage attempt...why?

I like Rollosac a lot, but you are right that the threat title is not even what the first post was about. (edited) If you are disappointed that we don't have the "extra" yet, then this I undersand. I am the one who created the "extra" and it isn't ready yet but will be soon and downloadable. I hope that you can be patient for it.Influx_Datum wrote:Seriously though - Why title a thread something like that when it could be so misleading? Also, the drum stick I've said we will send to you so please email support@esoundz.com and say that you are the only one who didn't receive it. I think they will treat you nice... they usually do (don't they?).

Sorry about the shock title. I was just playing with yer! I did actually think last night before I went to bed, that now Robert has swiftly replied, I should change the title. (Glad someone has).
I was only disappointed cos I was hoping for something extra in the package. (kids at Christmas syndrome)
After I installed the software I had a good 3 hour play with it. I'm very impresssed. The Choirs are the best I've heard, and I had a lot of fun playing with the note attacks and release etc and got some good stuff on the go and generally playing through some of the patches and Combis.
Only had limited success with the legato feature, but managed to make some very interesting musical passages with it (that doesn't sound realistic, but great anyway).
Will play more over the weekend.
Cor, all this and the new Kate Bush album out in November...

PS message sent with World Instrument order regarding the other matter.
