BR - a VSTi not found results in slow system

I'm using the latest beta (Aug 26th).
I've uninstalled a few VSTis recently and so when I open a project in eXT SA it cannot find them. That's fine but I cannot continue using the project as the CPU becomes so slow (I can't even open task manager to find out the CPU usage as eXT seems to hog the system).
Can anyone confirm this? Remove one of your VSTis and try opening a project that references it.
(It may require you to reboot the PC)

Got the latest beta as a demo on this internet pc (amd xp2400) and it has become very slow at loading the asio driver - about 12 seconds, compared with virtually instant - (audigy sc).
Didn't notice this on my amd64 3800 music pc - maybe its just too quick?

Very strange, isn't it? I'll try the demo on our internet PC too later on and report back
