Fellow KVR folks--

I write to advise you of our fledgling discussion group, the Absurd Music Exchange. We're over at yahoo groups, http://groups.yahoo.com/, keyword:
absurdmusic.

Our idea is to create original tracks, samples, snippets and songs, and post, mix, morph, and exchange them on a purely open-source basis. We do not appropriate the intellectual property of others--leave the dead to bury the dead, and the RIAA to bury itself. Instead, we permit people to link up with people for exchanges of music--particularly absurd and odd music. We're into "music without judgment" and free exchange across a spectrum of genres.

Our goal is simple--free music, by making free music.
We welcome musician and non-musician alike. Indeed, if you're not a musician, we'll show you freeware samplers and get you started. We are all about the Moment, the Experience, and the sharing.

I hope you'll come join us. It's all free, of course. We are too busy morphing samples and making music to bother with selling anyone anything.
