Audio/Music stuttering when using PC keyboard?

Hi folks,

Just have noticed a problem that I didn't used to have, I thought I would fix it with a format but it's still here so not sure what is causing it.

Basically when I am creating music or listening to music on my computer and typing or using the PC keyboard, the audio will stutter after about every 4th or 5th keypress and at 70wpm that can be quite annoying!

I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix it.

I have an Athlon XP2700 based PC system with 1gig RAM on an Abit Nforce2 Motherboard. I am using the Edirol UA-25 USB Sound Interface for my audio processing and the PC keyboard is plugged in via the green serial port.

Any help is appreciated.
