Hey guys,
I'm doing a bit of home recording, looking at a budget microphone and can't decide what to buy. I'm probably going for either a B-1 or C-1 but can't decide.
I've read heaps of reviews, but they've been no help to me! I'll mainly be using the mic to record dance vocals, mainly female voices, but some male.
Any recomendations would be great. Is it a matter of the more you spend the better with these two mics or not?
Cheers, Jeff!

Yes indeed. If you're willing to spend even some more it'll be better. Is it a matter of the more you spend the better with these two mics or not?

Speaking of C1's and B1's - you might want to check out Studio Projects' affordable mics. I have the B1, and I love the sound (I only record acoustic guitars, but my vocalist friend loved his) - and if you can part with a bit more cash, their C1 is pretty much the best sounding mic in that price range. Many critics have been blown away by this mic.

Looks like the Behringer gets good reviews too, of course.
