just thinking there might be a few Curtis mayfield fans here ....
One of my students is doing a paper on political music and I wanted to get her into some Curtis mayfield stuff. Some years back I came across a fan site by some Scandinavian guy which contained almost ALL of Mayfield's lyrics.
Now when I google, I just get thousands of those automated "lyrics' engines full of spam, usually just a few songs from 'Superfly' and maybe "people get ready'. Does anyone happen to know the site I mean, or a good source of mayfield lyrics generally ? A long shot I know, just thought i'd try.

Lyric searches used to result in endless hours of computer cleaning for me... BHO's, toolbars, etc. Since Curtis doesn't seem to have a main page of his own, all I can suggest is use any browser other than IE.
My first test of Firefox was going to one of the main lyrics sites to see if I got spammed with the toolbar instal, but FF blocked it. The lyrics are out there, but you better go in wearing a better browser than IE or they'll kill ya!
