An idea - small live audio solution

Once I found the propelledhead’s Reason I was interested in the cool hardware-liked GUI and system architecture. I wonder if we can use this architecture in the modern audio engineering field. Try to think about using a computer and a professional audio interface with a power amplifier and a set of speaker, we can manage a small live performance, meeting, lecture, or anything that needs electric audio support.

Of course, with the limitation of the computer audio interface, this solution is only suitable for small scene, however surely these places are disgusted with a bunch of professional audio equipments and they also can’t afford them.

This solution will be a host with these models: effecter (load vst plug-ins), vsti instrument (in case of playing lively), CD player, MP3 player, Recorder. And all the models connected to another model – mixer, which can also receive the signal of the inputs of the audio interface (from mic, instrument) and then finally send the mixed audio to the hardware. All the things are hardware-liked.

This is not a music production tool but it will use the ASIO & VST tech.
