Cubase SX1 demo question

I've got a demo of SX1 (a real demo I hasten to add. It's called 'setup_cubase_sx_102_demo.exe')
I've asked at the Cubase website forum but they're no use or [expletives deleted] ornament
Can I register this demo?
I've tried SX2 and hate it but I got on well with SX1
I've heard that Cubase SE is based on SX1 but I can't find details on all the features
If I can't use Cubase SX anymore is there any lookalike/use-a-likes about that I could move to without punching walls because of the learning curve?
Thank you

SX3 is rather pleasing to use. Know anyone in your vicinity who uses that?

I don't like the VST instrument channel
Also I'm a carer so spending £400+ on a computer program is impossible
I know I could go down 'the naughty route' to get a copy but...I'd quite like to do this all legal

In that case I'd recommend you check out energyXT. Its not the same as SX1 obviously, but very powerful, and it's fun to use. The 'demo' version is the full thing, you can save even, only you can't load saved projects until you unlock it.

I read your initial post over at cubase.net, and I thought the responses were very clear. If they are/were no use to you, perhaps you might question your ability to comprehend english, rather than flame the responders on a different forum.bossmew wrote:I've got a demo of SX1 (a real demo I hasten to add. Good luck with your search though...
