I dont get it. All I own is FLStudio.

The price tag for all I wish for is enormous.

Heres my top 10 wishlist.
Sonar 5

Live 5

Ampltube2

Philharmonik or EWQL Gold

BFD + XFL

Hardcore Bass

Symphonic Choirs

Ozone 3

Waves Platinum

Stylus RMX

This would be about 5000€ or what? Im not saying these product wouldnt be worth the price. Im just whining and daydreaming. Over and out.

It takes a very long time to build up a good collection of anything... Don't think of it as spending all that money at once, but over the course of a year or two.

keep your eye on the market place forum, other than that I've learned to find freeware solutions and cheaper commercial products(there are lots of small devs offering great products), I don't think I'd ever spenbd the type of mpney your talking about on software unless I was a pro

The marketplace and group buys are your friends! As is shopping around for demos btw. You have 2 hosts in your lists, you can probably do with either one of them, you just have to make up your mind.
Also check out Voxengo for instance. In the price range of a hobbyist's budget, and quality wise these plugins are up to bar, sometimes better than waves plugins.
Betabugs is another place to find really useful plugins for free. The TL plugins are good, too. You're really sitting at the source being a KVR poster, the grass isn't really greener in waves land

Some people just have alot more money than others. I have a friend who is making a tripple digit salary and lives in a little rent controlled apartment alone with nothing to spend his money on...so he collects DVDs...has soo many that he cant even have them all out on shelves. The there are people like me...I have no job currently, am going to school, and barely making ends meet. Obviously there are plenty of people that have too much money or nothing else to spend money on or these companies would not be in business anymore...and there are enough of us that arent in that good of a position to help support these companies down the road when we do get good jobs and can afford expensive hobbies like synth collecting!
