Yep! its down - AudioShot - AudioShots - Madloops - TrimShots and Rockstar (coz he is on my server) are all down atm

But not any freeshot hosted clearshot or domain hosted clients coz they are on other servers

phew, I was starting to get worried there for a minute. It says somthing about ban in the error for the page so I thought I'd gone and pissed everyone off. Hope the page is back up soon. I needs my fix.

were back....now quick everyone make a post at generation rock while you still can...nasa launched special missiles at the sun and caused 7 major solar flares, it will cause global spontaneous combustion (wearing suits of aluminum foil will save you) so better make your posts now...

Not back yet Hink - Hardware is pretty burnt out on this server - The SunSpot thing is cool though

Read all about it - SunSpot blows up the auditorium

Found the reasons - implementing hardware changes - restoration etc.

I will let you know when its back fully

It needs new hardware though as it cannot cope - just fails big time. it started to glitch in the early hours of yesterday - then things went a bit horrid so it was taken off line while the causes were looked into - fully

Now its just a matter of putting it back together

I am not sure I want to ‘risk’ putting the Auditorium back online – once my ‘new’ server has resolved around the net.

My old server got a right old bashing – ok so it was the smallest I had – but non-the-less it could have done better – personally I think the ‘total openness’ of the Auditorium and the ‘constant bashing by board minds’ to find a way to push it to its destruction, leaves me thinking – f**k it!

Not worth the agro – a whole weekend to put right, and only because the auditorium was there – well I am seriously thinking an alternative venture – stick with audioshots and samples, and ‘select’ hosting.

And all the agro caused by trying to offer something for free – well not worth it.

Those of you who had samples at the auditorium – I will still host these and make them available from audioshots in your name each with its own page etc. Some artists will benefit from artists pages – if they contact me by PM – coz until audioshot and audioshots is resolved around the net – email will not work.

The moderators I will contact individually once I have things back in order to let them know my future pans regarding the auditorium.

Well done guys! You win – you finally managed to bring it down

and change my perception of the internet and its occupants
