Pretty sure it was recent footage, so it wasn't Led Zep

Anyone got any idea who it could have been? The guy was singing and playing guitar with a bow (no bowing puns please), with a bass player, drummer, small string section (I think), and keyboard player (I think).

Was wondering if it was Muse?

It was on Rage, and I only caught 30 seconds of it.

i saw the pixies last week or so and joey santiago was "bowing" his strings using a drumstick at one point

prolly wasnt him tho

Nah, it was a bow.

The Pixies are a 4-piece, right? Pretty sure this was a 3-piece band.

Coincidentally I'm listening to Led Zep right now

Heart used to do this a lot but I don't know any more recent bands that do (though Heart are still going). Not seen MUSE doing this but they do have an excelent guitarist so I wouldn't be surprised. What sort of music was it?

saw them here is Houston about two years ago and it was the best show I have ever seen.

Anyway, I thought the guy's voice was great. I'll have to check them out! Probably heard them on the J's...

I heard the new cd is suppose to be more poppy but I haven't heard any of it yet.

I love their music. It's so dreamy and dynamic. Their shows are like their videos - slooooow motion

no problem.

check out their stuff, it's amazing. their first cd is a little different - they really captured their sound off their second and third album.

it's one of those bands that gives you the chills.
