The demo yields only frustration for me with DUO and CHOIR only.
major pops and crackles...well, enough to really annoy the heck out of me and make the plugins useless.
its not a cpu issue or disk or anything, its the plugin; it happens in multiple hosts with various buffer sizes, with 2 different soundcards (emu1820m and Firepod) on 2 different pcs (pent 4 and athlon)...
It sounds really good too, the perfect plugin for this usage, mainly i would use it for auto double tracking...
the thing is, it does timing and pitch variations, is there another plugin that has similar parameters?
I just need timing and pitch variation; i really thought the vibrato control was nice but not nessecary, and certainly not the timbre changing, that was totally useless, only perhaps one or 2 steps up and down.

With which host are you using it?
Erik.

Cloneensemble I think is forgotten by people here, but I like it more than the Antares stuff. It´s some years old now, but is still being developed.
http://www.cloneensemble.com/
And it´s way cheaper than Antares.. just 25 $!

no crackles here Jaeson and you know we have similar stuff (AA, FL5)
@Roman Empire
I like the clone ensemble I have that and choirboy...both are good though I think choirboy is better because of the midi, the upgrade to clone esemble a while back was awesome but I think it colors the sound some...however I certainly would not of bought the bundle for Dou or choir alone..I like throat and to be completely honest I will probably still use voxformer over the de-essor and punch often, though I can see some times where I might do otherwise.
The way I figure it is my vocals need all the help they can get, from 20-700 bux if it helps it's worth it and all the Antares pluggins do help, combined with my other tools (and future tools I will buy) I'll have my choice of the best solution, not just one solution.
I figured it this way..I have several thousand dollars tied up im my guitar, amp, and it's tools, maybe more on keyboards, controllers, soft synths, my QSR and B4. I have DFH1, DFH superior (well tomorrow I will have superior)....so why not put some money into to improving my weakest point...my vox...

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
