Thats pretty a awful thing to say. They obviously worked really hard to create something special and you wish them that?
I agree my statement [regarding WOW going out of business due to using PACE] was harsh. If they want to treat their legit customers as criminal-potentials, then may their marketing budget be plentiful and their sales force be strong so they can prove me wrong.

I listened to the demo MP3s and enjoyed them. If they remove the PACE protection, I'll reconsider this product. However, as another manufacturer recently mentioned, companies are heading towards stronger protection, not lesser. So, if that's their desire, then I don't care for their business practices, and hence, I don't care if they remain in business.

There is one good thing if they go out of business -- we could use this company as proof that companies who use too strong protection annoy their legitimate customers and don't increase sales.

You don't need proof. Just ask around. It is a given that the easiest method of registration would be the most pleasant for a legitimate user. Unless they are a masochistic self punisher of some sort.

You mean "stronger" protection like PACE that seems to have taken all of 24 hours to be cracked?

I think he means stronger copy protection from the legitimate users perspective. Obviously from a crack addict's perspective its all the same. Free and easy.

I just read another TimeWARP thread, and it seems the developer might consider a non-PACE solution in the future. If they change, that would be great and I would consider the product again.
