Hello
i wanted to use Xoxos very nice looking midi vst (talent, arp4midi...) to add random possibilities or arpeggios in Tracktion to use with hardware gear, but i can't get no sound...
There is a manual for Talent, but i doesn't explain how to proceed to make ti work....
When i put it in my track like a audio plugin, no sounds comes out...
COuld someone help and tell me how to do ?
( I would need it mainly for tracktion 1,6, but i can use Floops5 or lIVE4...)

They dont produce audio at all, as far as I remember; just MIDI. You need to set them up on the same track as (and 'before') a normal synth plugin.

Yes i know that is not audio but midi.
I want to control exteranl hardware synths with it.
But to insert the plugin in my midi track i have to drop it like i do with usual vst.
I don't even understand if i have to make first a midi sequence and play it, or to trigg the plugin with my controller. I tried both and it did nothing.
When i press a touch on my keyboard, it doesn't trigg the arpegiattor, and when i drop the midi plugin on a midi track with a midi sequence playing, the sound stops (but i can the the midi loop still playing).

The arpeggiator only seems to work when your sequencer is actually playing.
Put arp4midi at the start of the filter chain, then (if you want) a VST after it. Just load a default preset for arp4midi, press play on the sequencer and then hold down a chord on the keyboard to hear it arpeggiate.
I tend to disable it whilst I'm setting up chords, and then switch it on when I'm ready to hear it arpeggiatored.

i'm getting it :
i thought tha tarp4midi was by defautl set on the track's midi out port, but it is not.
my midi track in tracktion was snding data to port midi number 9, but arp4midi was sending to 1...
i set correctly midi in & midi out, and now it seems to work fine...
