How do I covert a DVD to Quicktime in OS X?

Is there a piece of software I can purchase that will convert a DVD into Quicktime?

there are other commercial options, but this works fine..provided of course you are 'ripping' an un-encrypted/protected DVD...

Thanks v much Q.

It is a Legal reason for doing this BTW.Either : a) Editors not being arsed to compress their Avid files.. or b) They give me a quicktime on ZIP which is to old skool for me nowadays.

I tried the ripdifferent one and it extracted the DVD ok but now.. how do I convert it to a Quicktime file?
