Yep, I'd like to make FLP's and ZIP's with anyone that would be interested. It could be cool I think.
I have every FL native plug but never use Slayer ...

Errr what kind of "collaboration" is this going to be? :hihi: :hihi:

ROoohh, Teknosik, what are you thinking of ?

Arke, no problem, I do think we can work together, I've already listened to your "something" snippet and I must say it's quite interesting :)
As far as I'm concerned, I've made some demo tunes for a French soft so far but finally got bored with it cause it sounds cheap. That's the reason why I switched to FL lately.

Yay, Let me know what you want me to do, either here or email chris dot r dot walton at gmail dot com :)

Ok, as for me, my e-mail is available in my details.
Well, do you want me to dig your "something" further or shall we start something new ?
On my side, I am not restricted to any style either. If it sounds good, I don't care what it is :P
Oups, can't tell you more right now cause I'm at work
See you a bit later

My cousin told me today that "something" is lame but catchy, so maybe that would be a good start. At the same time, I could continue one of yours and/or start a new one :)

Post

yeap, I agree on this, "Something" can be even more catchy !
Well, so far, I've only tried to get some sounds out of the Slayer plug-in, then I have no ready-to-be worked snippet. In a close future, I will concentrate on "Something" :harp:
BTW, what do you think of Slayer ? As for me, I'm not convinced. The Refx version 2.5 seems to be far better though.

Most of the settings for slayer are too shrill. The skaven demo song managed to get a good sound by layering lots of slayers, and even that is the typical "rammstein" type guitar sound which not too many people like.

One of these days I'm gonna have my old guitar shipped to me so that I can make guitar samples myself :)

I got a trance-ish little song going that I'm gonna work on a bit, for your future enhancement :)

yeap, shrill and much too synthetic  After a long while spent tweaking the settings, my ears are broken down.

Cool, I sometimes listen to trance tracks made in FL and I must say it's a good app for that style.
My favourite Fruity synths 3XOsc, TS404 and Sytrus (a bit CPU hungry though)
