Hello, I wondered does anybody know is there any vst host that can be used for live playing.I used to use reason, and controll it with midi keyboard and controler, then I switched to cubase sx(because of many vst), but it's more complicate to use it live...So I'm basicaly looking for host(not sequencer) with mixer, sends and midi chanells that can load vsts.Thanx

Audiomulch is great for live use (low resource use, stable) and mixers can go anywhere you want them. Accepts MIDI, but does not yet have MIDI routing between modules or any MIDI sequencing of any kind.

other possibilities ...
> plogue bidule (similar to audiomulch but with more MIDI options)

> xlutop chainer (in this context similar to forte though i guess)
currently though ... the aforementioned energyXT and live5 might be your best bets ...

FLStudio is usable in a live setting, but it does have some limitations if you have more than one controller.

Price notwithstanding, I'd recommend live, because you can you can assign almost anything to a midi or keyboard map.
Otherwise EnergyXT would be excellent for this kind of thing (and only 40 euros or so). Another advantage is that you could probably cut down on the amount of midi assignments due to the modular nature of the program.
