I want an effect that causes delay that pans back and forth (I think in sync with tempo). Do "ordinary" VST/DXi delay effects (like in Sonar 3.1.1) do this (I messed with it and I could not figure out how to get it to pan back and forth)?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a free VST that does this?

Kjaerhues' "Classic" delay has PingPong:

also get the other classic plugs by this guy, it's all no-nonsense functional stuff.

If you dont have retrodelay then get it. It is a very practical but well equiped delay. and its free.

Check out some of the delay plugins at Klanglabs. You can easily configure them to do anything you want. Also look at Ixox's stuff.
