When I record, I have a 4 beat count in then start playing along with the click track but nothing starts showing as being recorded until about the 8th or 9th beat out.This is confirmed on playback.I've fiddled with the sync but can't figure out why the sync is so far off.
Anybody with some know how with sx-3 would be appreciated. This is the last major obstackle befor I can at least start to record.

check your recording options. make sure you don't have auto puch-in on.

I don't own sx3 anymore and I can't remember. Try the "Help" section in sx3. good luck...

Yon can see if auto punch in (and punch out) is activated in the transport panel (two buttons with a ramp-like line, one downwards and one upwards, lust left of the locators).
