I'm writing a program that uses DirectSound to play sixteen simultaneous .wav file tracks. The program provides an interface for tweaking audio properties and allows recording to a new track.The program also features a multicast interface which synchronizes playback (yet allows for setting differences) across many computers on a network. I plan to have the program complete by Halloween for an outdoor demonstration.
I need to find a large archive of sample .wav audio files to test with.
Can anyone refer me to an URL which might have what I'm looking for?
