I've signed up for Cameleon and CamelSpace in the group buy, but I'm on the fence about CamelPhat. Anyone have some thoughts on it? I'll either get it or the Cameleon soundbanks, probably.

I was dissappointed that the upgrade offers for Supercamelphat v2.0 were limited to something like a month.
Camelphat is a great plug for distortion and filtering. I think I'll sign up for 'space and 'phat this time round.

Well I'm obviously biased but if you EVER do anything with drums then I'd recommend Camelphat. Try the demo!

We actually changed our mind about this, because there were people who didn't get the email for various reasons. Just drop an email to support with the email address you used to order CP2, and Glen will sort you out with the update links.I was dissappointed that the upgrade offers for Supercamelphat v2.0 were limited to something like a month.
Well obviously my opinion is going to be a bit biasedAnyone have some thoughts on it?
Thanks

Steve Duda (programmer/engineer - worked with Nine Inch Nales, Pitchshifter...)I'm using CamelPhat on all my drum parts and basslines
D. Ramirez/Fingers Inc (records for Junior, Yoshitoshi, Whoop, Kingsize and Choo Choo)CamelPhat3 truly makes a good thing better - new fresh look, wonderful modulation options, but CamelPhat is still really about one thing - the balls it brings your sound! Where most plugins turn your sound plastic, CamelPhat gives you a thick, wooly coat of hair.
Steve Everitt - Ozric Tentacles, Eat StaticCamelPhat is actually my favourite plug-in regardless of price. As it's so vesatile it tends to get used on pretty much everything. What I like most about it is the way it is layed out and presented; the fact that there are two filters on board, each with a different and unique sound and they are wired together in such a perfect way as to make it almost child's play. In fact, by looking at it you wouldn't actually believe what it is capable of. I only wish that other plug-in manufacturers would take note!
Jason Nevins:Phat by name, Phat by nature. The tube distortion always provides the necessary grit or filth for bass and drum parts, and the magic bottom end EQ ensures that bass parts and kick drums really kick. CamelPhat's envelope filter is a superb musical tool when applied to breaks and loops; perfect for mutant funk. The "forced" resonance of the dual bandpass filter has just the right kind of 'mouthiness' that I like, and automated sweeps can easily be created in Logic..
I have been an avid fan of this simplistic, unique and effective plug-in since it was first released, and I use it on every session.
The name says it all "phat" I love the ease of use and how you just have to turn it on and get a much fatter, thicker sound. I use it for individual tracks like beats and bassline to thicken them up. Sometimes it is a problem solver when i have a part that isnt loud enough in the mix- it comes in very handy.
