something simple,so you just set it to sweep the filter(lopass or hipass)over a number of bars, starting either with host-play or midi note on,oh and maybe set the 'to' and 'from' frequency.does anyone know of a filter-traveller-type thing?i can't think of any,but maybe i've missed it.

see most auto-filters that do host-tempo syncing only seem to go upto 1 bar.is it possible to sweep over 16,32 bars?i know i could automate a filter plugin, but cos i'm in a band with my 4-year old,i'm looking for simple solutions.

thanks,but not really.it hasn't got a 'number of bars to sweep over'button.
it's not really an LFO i was after, but a lowpass filter that when open, your track plays as normal, then you can set long sweeps either up or down.then you could put it on different tracks and set it to filter up or down over a few bars.nice n simple, low on cpu.anyone else?or is this going to have to be my first synthedit expedition.

thanks, just had a look.it seems like it might do it.a bit too complex for what i needed and it was colouring the sound a lot,i just need to try and tame it so it does a simple lowpass filter then returns to the unaffected sound.wasn't sure if it could sweep for 16 or 32 bars either,if i can make a preset of that, then i'm laughin'.

www.kjaerhusaudio.com have a freebie filter that allows you to sweep over several bars. You set that in the tempo notes selection. A whole note is one bar, in case you missed that.

thanks greendoor, but it seems 8bars is the highest it goes and it didn't retrigger on play,i guess i'll have to use automation for now,i wish i had more time to play with synthedit.

I think you can do it with CamelSpace where the step sequencer controls the cutoff of the filter.
There's currently a group buy for Camel products here (ends Wed 28, 12am GMT):

You must be quick (I would not miss it).

But it's not the most simple solution, sorry.PeterL wrote:I think you can do it with CamelSpace where the step sequencer controls the cutoff of the filter.
