Hi nusofters,
regarding the 'normalise files on load' option within preferences, does this only apply when you are creating a new kit by loading samples into the pad? Or does it normalise every kit that you load in? Im assuming its the former.
Now, if i have say made my own map for NSKit7. If I had that option selected when i built the kit, would it have actually changed my library files by normalising them, or does it just hold a gain setting which it applies on load?
does this even make any sense?
and the FR, well two FR's really:
can the 'e' that opens a pad editor also be used to close it? Most of the time I open a pad while building a kit i just want to look at settings and not change anything, but i have to move the cursor to the pad off button and press that. Its trivial, but not when you have to do a couple hundred times while building a kit.
and two: when loading samples via the +/- buttons in the pad editor, can the explorer window that opens up return to the last place it was? Having to navigate from the dk+ install folder to the library folder a couple hundred times is also way tedious.
there im done, now back to the drums!
Question about Normalising in DK+ and a FR

'normalise files on load' happens only for the kit your built with that option and it doensn't overwrite
your files, it's just part of the resampling algorithm which DK+ uses when you load a kit,
as per the other requests I couldn't agree more,
the [E] button, in next upodate, closes the editor on right click,
so left click opens, right click closes
"will try also to implement a location memory for the
explorer window, for the next upgrade"
(this is done too now)
thanks
