I finished up my latest album, Messy's Pace, in the middle of August. I then headed out to Burning Man, and passed out 500 copies of it. That was really awesome experience, although very time consuming (and slightly repetitive).
Now I'd like to find other avenues to get more people to check out my music. I totally redid my website (www.generalfuzz.net) so that it looks both professional and trippy. I know nothing about labels/net labels: which ones would make sense for me to approach about distributing my music, and how to do so. It seems there is a bewildering number of them (just by doing some searches on google). Also there must be other ways to get people to check out your music (besides posting it on this site
). What techniques have people employeed to get the word out on your music? Any advice in this matter is gratefully accepted.
