Hi
I installed ManystationData to -
c:\program files\ManystationData
and the vst to -
c:\vstplugins\ManystationVSTi

However, in my vst host (FLStudio502) I'm experiencing a few bugs:

1.When I load MS for the 1st time it takes quite long - just over 20 seconds (in comparison, Wusikstn only takes 2 secs). Hwr, after the 1st load of MS, it only takes 2 secs to load it again thereafter.
- Could the fact that the datafiles are in a separate place from the vst, be causing the slow 1st load?

2.Sometimes I have to reload MS because there is no sound coming from the oscillators

3.I'm experiencing quite a few bugs while wave sequencing:
a)Noise sounds just before a sample > I have to
reload my saved preset to get rid of it. This
happens if I turn off the wavesequenceing (eg
'w1') layer & then turn it back on again.
b)Sometimes a noise plays instead of the sample I've
selected
c)Sometimes in my vst host, if I sequence some
notes/chords I get incorrect playback - I've only
done this once, so can't give any more details

Install Q -
Q. I've recently purchased WusikStation v1.1.062 - should I reinstall Manystation? (I haven't experienced any bugs with WS)

The reason I ask is coz in the ManyStation_read_this_first.pdf it says that all MS data files should be installed to the WusikStation data files folder, which on my com is:
C:\VstPlugins\Wusikstation\Wusikstation Data

This wasn't relevant to me before, coz I only had ManyStation to begin with, but now I have both. I was still experiencing these problems in ManyStation before I installed WusikStation though, so I'm thinking maybe it's due to the datafiles folder being in a different location to the vst (see above).

I still think both ManyStation & WusikStation are great products that I'm gona enjoy using for a very long time!

Kind Regards,
Moh

Hi
WusikStation and ManyStyation need to share the same folder. So yes i would suggest you install the ManyStation Data into the same folder as your wusik Data.

ManyStation could be taking longer to load due to the Larger Samplesets. The bigger the SampleSet ...The longer this will take.
As the 2 products use the exact same engine then you should be having the same weird things you have seen in ManyStation happening in WusikStation. Install the Data into the same folders as Wusik and all should be well as there are pretty much Zero Major Bugs in this version. The things you report seeing are the first i have heard about noise in the signal etc. I am sure one of our Hundreds of users would have seen this if it was there. Check some presets that use the WaveSeq and see if you can track a problem. If your trouble persists then I will ask William the coder to help you some more.
But first get it all installed properly as that is most likely the cause of the trouble.
Please email support if trouble persists.

Hey Paul,

I decided to uninstall everything (wusikstation & manystation) and do a registry clean with registry mechanic.

WS is installed now, but I have a problem with MS Data install > it doesn't automatically find where my Wusikstation data folder is, & wants to install to c:\programfiles\Manystation Data, should I manually install to my WS data folder? - C:\VstPlugins\WusikstationData

When I try doing that it adds an extra bit at the end:
C:\VstPlugins\WusikstationData\Manystation Data

Should I install to:
1.C:\VstPlugins\WusikstationData OR
2.C:\VstPlugins\WusikstationData\Manystation Data ?

PS: I got ur PM, sorry if I caused unecessary hassle for you - I think ur right that it's an install issue. I will email support, if you can't answer the above Q. Thanks.

Kind Regards,
Moh

You can delete the line ManyStation Data and put it right in the same folder as wusik data
The Soundsets from ManyStation will end up in the folders you have already, sitting beside the existing Wusik Soundsets in that same folder.
Same with the skins, the files will be in with the Wusik skins and you will know you are right because you can see and use both products soundsets and both products skins (Wusik and Many) through either interface.
Hope that helps

Hi Paul,

I've re-installed ManyStation now, but am still experiencing a problem - I don't know whether it's my sequencer/a limitation/a bug:

The easiest way for me to describe the problem is to tell you how I did it:

1. Load bank 'WS default'(pad-initial JJ should be the loaded preset)
2. Draw a note in sequencer for 2 bars/8 beats for the ManyStation/pad-initial JJ
3. Play the note in the sequencer & make it loop
4. Turn the w1 layer off, then on > when you turn it on you get some extra sounds. The pad-initial JJ can be played normally (without extra sounds) by stopping the sequencer (using transport controls) & replaying (the extra sounds can be brought back by muting, then unmuting the w1 layer again)

I've also simulated the above behaviour with the MT_05_Rsmus7_32 bank/Seq-meloa SM preset. I'm 99.9% sure that I installed everything properly, but would like to know what you think.

Kind Regards - Moh

Hi Moh

Ahh ... Thanks... for describing it and how to reproduce it .....
The above behavior is a known bug that has been fixed in Version 2 of the engine. All current ManyStation users will get that version engine for free once we adopt it. This should be pretty soon ... Just waiting to be sure all is Stable 100% with new engine.

As for the Bug in your Version1 of WusikStation.
You will have to talk to William at Wusik about that.

Thanks for ur reply Paul :)

Update: William says the issue is a known bug in v1 of wusikstation, but it doesn't happen in v2.

Thanks again for taking the time to help me with ManyStation, Kind Regards - Moh
