i thought i had plenty of distortion plugs, but...

what i want to do is distort a females nicely sung vocals slightly, then a little heavier through animation. the distortion is not grinding metal distortion, but more like tube saturation coupled with overdrive. think bullhorn sound, or perhaps stomp box, or perhaps "Favorite Game" by Cardigans.

something slight, subtle, not metal.

what are you using for this?

um, try properly adjusting the wet/dry signals of pretty much any distortion/over drive plug you desire?

vocal distortion?
