There's another statement, in the amplitube2 section:
"Customers having registered AmpliTube 1 full version from September 1, 2005, will receive a FREE upgrade to AmpliTube 2."
So, I'd say it shouldn't matter if you upgrade from LE or not. Btw, I did the same just 2 days ago
