Has anyone tried this? Never heard a word said about it and couldn't find one review on the internet.
I'm looking for a really good EQ for mastering and EQing bus's. I recently tried the Q-Clone plugin at a mates house and although I don't own any decent outboard EQ's just from playing around with the presets I got some really good results, even with an almost flat EQ line it adds a real nice sound (on a side note does anyone know what EQ's they sampled/cloned?) With all that said though I don't think it's really practical enough.
Ill add that I don't have a UAD-1 although I would love one I just don't want to invest in a PCI card now,(on another side note does anyone know if they plan on putting out a new card soon?)
So Mix EQ, anyone tried it? Oh and please don't turn this into a I hate copy protection rant.
Thank you
URS MIX EQ

The MIX EQ is an extended version of the S EQ, which is modelled after an SSL console EQ. It's obviously very versatile. I usually end up using the S when I want that sound, because I rarely need all those bands the MIX offers, but you get them both in the same bundle anyway. I think it's the cleanest sounding of all the URS EQs (I have them all), but not as clean as the Sony Oxford. I mostly use it on kick drums and electric guitars.
If you'd like to send me some files to pass through it at settings you specify before shelling out cash for an iLok, send me a PM.

Ok may do this, just at work at the moment, thank you.
So essentially it's the same EQ as the S Series but with more control? If its clean then I assume it will be fine for mastering.

I tried URS for a very short time so take my opinion
with a grain of salt : IMHO u cant do tight cut with
this they always seem to affect wide frequency band .
Its maybe more per track then master tool ?
OTOH Ive seen quite a few mastering engeneers recomed
this one (if u cant stretch for algoritmix)

(havent heard it my self, just other people opinion,
but price seem to be right)
