I'm selecting a host to wotk with, i've tried FL Studio and Ableton Live 5 , i liked FL Studio because
of the step sequencer and workflow( pattern/playlist thing ) but i would like to try other similar hosts if there is one.So my question is, Is there any other host that is the same or very similar to FL Studio in relation to what i said i liked on it...?
Thanks

You might want to check out Orion Platinum from Synapse Audio http://www.synapse-audio.com - it's somewhat fruity-like in the pattern/playlist department. Not cheap but it comes with everything you need right out of the box, so if you're not loaded up with VST/VSTi already it's actually a cost-effective option.
eXT can do pretty much anything if you take the time to learn it, it's pretty much my main host now since it's so insanely flexible (and you can't beat the cost). And Jorgens support is amazing, the man is a programming machine!

I have been meaning to give eXT a play for a while. Another one that people recomend is BuzzMachines, and it's free

No other sequencer is like FL, and it really spoils those used to it with the patterns. Orion has its pattern stuff too but the patterns are not named, and doesnt have the nice per pattern automation.

If you like FL stick with it. I don't think there is an easier program to use.

yeah like circuitbentpirate says if you like it why change, altho what is i it you feel you are missing?
i personally feel once you find a host you can use you are 90% of the way there, anything else needed can usually be found in plug ins these days too.
from what ive heard anyway recent versions of fl have been pretty cool features wise

It also depends on what kind of music you want to do. FL is great for techno, trance, dance, house, hip hop, etc., but for things like rock its better to have something thats a little more elegant about audio
