SR is looking for more sound designers.

Sound design gig - if you know samplers very well, synth programming, rexing, editing in Wavelab, looping (also instrument sustain looping, not just beat looping but that too), tuning (good ear) and are familiar with Reason, SampleTank and other popular software sample products. I am looking for various people at different levels and we usually get a lot of requests for this position. Location needs to be in Sunrise, Florida in our office but in rare exceptions you might be able to work outside (or become a tester at least and get some free sounds from SR if you are good... we test testers for this ;) ).

Executive assistant manager - I am looking for someone who is incredibly knowledgeable about samplers, sample libraries, instruments (from vintage to ethnic to meat & potatoes to classical etc.), styles of music and is very thorough, organized with good management skills. Must be a very good keyboard player as well. So, I am looking for a Squids 2 in this regard. I'll be honest, this is not an easy gig to get but it is a good one if you fit the bill.

Beta testers - if you have a variety of samplers on mac and pc and know them well, know how to look for issues in samples and patch programming then there are various roles here. This can be done from anywhere in the US.

Demo makers - if you are an excellent composer, performer and can crank out impressive demos then show us what you got! This can be done from anywhere in the world. But, we are also looking for someone in house who is diverse for doing riffs (to join Mr. Tunes, myself and Rob in making riff demos for esoundz).

Email jobs@sonicreality.com if you are interested.

Thanks and good luck! Sorry for the Squidspam-fest. I don't normally do this but there was an unusual situation where we are adding people here and also marketing and sales at IK. A growth period and personel shifting so... a little advanced notice for KVRians to have first crack at it. That's because I love this place.

dunno bout being what youd call an excellent one,but i am a composer.
always willing to help out on demo tracks :)
ive done a fair bit before, mainly freeware but also some bits for camel, gmedia.manytone and im sure a few others too.
to be honest tho im more of a non natural sound user,so before you even consider me i guess as a sampler there would be a lot of real world stuff so perhaps im not the best person available.
but you know where to find me if you want to chat about it even :)

Why oh Why are you not working on some Wusikstation content? Great synth, great samples even better when brought together.

Don't give him any ideas, I couldn't take the competition!

Dave, I'm up for beta-testing as you well know. I can give you a list of all I have/use/own if you like. ;)

I won't disclose it here (due to sample envy) and I can't beta test anything until after November (most likely) due to other NDA's.

Keep me in mind though.

Well I wrote a long application to Sonic Reality, and it's been 4 days and not even a reply saying that they had recieved my application. I've been making sample libraries for a long time and thought I would be just what they were looking for :(

I think if someone goes to the trouble of writing an app, then the company could at least acknowledge it.
