Using a Pentium M Dell laptop, when the laptop is not plugged in the wall, and running on it's batteries instead, I get a very slow wireless internet connection. As soon as I plug the laptop in the wall outlet and it runs on AC power, I get a super fast wireless connection.

Anyone know why I may be experiencing this? Do any of you also experience this?

the built in dell wireless adapter probably has a power-conserving mode (have a dell laptop, same thing), take a look at the device settings and see if you can disable this feature.

That's what I was thinking as well, but I can't find how to fix this.. thanks for your help..
