been using this for ages and ive allways though it was cool but--
ive never been able to get any noticable change in sound when i try to trigger in via midi
try'd in FLstudio and minihost and it doesnt seem to work-
i can trigger other plugins fine but not macomate- so its not that i dont have a box checked
anyhoo any one else

thanks for trying it out - sorry you're having problems.
for me, in cubase sx, it shows up like any other virtual instrument accepting midi input. channels 1,3-16 all trigger the main resonators, with channel two tuning the feedback path. if you want to make it easier to hear whether it's receiving midi, click on "vel" up top and then maximize the bars - that makes every comb filter 100% velocity sensitive (i.e., they require midi notes to be able to resonate). also, the thin status bar below the main control (and above the feedback dials) should light up with midi input to indicate which comb/resonator/"string" is being played.
