I need a very simple effect plugin that takes any input and puts out sinewaves at a specified frequency with the input signal's amplitude.
It shouldn't analyze the pitch of the incoming signal or something, it should just look at the envelope of it and create sinewaves, all having the same frequency.

The frequency should be specified in the user interface and should go up to 20Khz.

It should just do that, don't add any latency and shouldn't consume too much CPU.

Does such a plugin exist? If not, could someone please write it in Synthedit for me? It shouldn't be too hard, should it?

It also wouldn't be very hard to just synthesize these sounds in Cool Edit or Sound Forge. Probably would take less time then making a plugin.

Are you okay with Synthedit..?

Hook up the output of a Peak Follower to modulate a Sine Osc. That should do it.

@jason: That is not what I want. I don't actually want the sinewave, I want to use it as a trick to be able to sidechain in Ableton Live 3.
