Is there a way of converting ST2 sounds in to a refill for Reason.
Ive abandoned Cubase which was my main host in favour of using just Reason. I have FL Studio as a VST host but I rarely use it.
So Im left with ST2 and SS2 which I cant sell and dont really use much now, Id love to be able to use the sounds in the NNXT sampler.
Any ideas anyone ?

Technically you are not supposed to be able to convert out of SampleTank format but there are some that do it anyway. I am opposed to mentioning it in our company forum though for political reasons. However, I doubt it will go to NNXT directly (more like to waves and then you'd have to remap it which is incredibly inconvenient).Chungas Revenge wrote:Is there a way of converting ST2 sounds in to a refill for Reason.

There may be a way to host your plug-ins and use rewire to connect them to Reason. But, your best bet is to pick up the Sonic Refills which cover a lot of the SS2 sounds and more. In fact, you can buy all 20 refills together for half price. Maybe even a little less if you explain your situation to sales@esoundz.com

Try http://www.extranslator.com (http://www.extranslator.com) its the cheapestand best convertor ive found for PC, converts sampletank to many other formats. Convert your ST library to soundfont format in one go - the NNXT can read soundfonts directly.
Or buy all the samples again as suggested.

$499. instead of $1,000 (20 X 50). Actually the list price went up to $59. each but we're keeping the "everything bundle" still at $499 so it is really less than have price. It's actually called the Sonic Refill Gold Bundle. It hasn't officially been announced yet but we have that and the silver bundle which is the Vol. 1-5 for $179. (if you buy the "Sonic Refill 1.0" then you qualify for the R3 version of that as well)._R__Y__A__N_ wrote:Woah, woah. Hang on. All twenty of the SR Refills for half price?Tell me more!
Then we have the Miroslav Refills coming. If you are a Reason 3 user this is a good time for SR sounds!
